Animesh Ghosh completed his B. Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, WBUT. Later he completed his Masters in Rural Development, IGNOU and Masters in Development Practice, TISS. He has more than 8 years of work experience in social sector. He worked with different Govt. agencies and gathered his experience stretching from overall planning & execution of projects, coordinating/ networking & advocacy with stakeholders, team building & strengthening leadership of elected representatives under PRIs & other community resource persons (CRPs), conducting convergence programmes, field surveys, staff training & developing learning modules etc.
After his masters he worked as an Project Executive at Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN). Later he was selected for the prestigious Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellow (PMRDF) under Ministry of Rural Development and was associated with different development programmes at district level in the state of West Bengal. After four years working as a PMRDF he joined as Consultant at District Plan of Action for Children, UNICEF & Government of West Bengal. Presently he is working as an Officer on Special Duty to Director General, National Institute of Rural Development & Panchyati Raj, under Ministry of Rural Development, Hyderabad.
